Hairdresser, Fruit and Food Vendor, Bakers
The widows, who could barely feed themselves due to the increased prices (caused by the Corona crisis), started small businesses using OneAgape’s funding.
Mama Ada is one of the widows supported by OneAgape and has opened a small fruit business, which she chose as her preferred business option. The fruit is sourced directly from the farmers we support and sold at the market in Kaduna. Mrs. Basi, Mrs. Okon, and Mama Rita are also widows supported by OneAgape. They now earn their living as a hairdresser, food vendor, or baker. They all spoke about how OneAgape has changed their lives for the better. They can now feed their families themselves and hope that their businesses will continue to grow so that they can pay for their children’s school fees in the future.
